Visiting Longmont
Longmont is not the most
striking or well known town, being somewhat
overshadowed by the city of Boulder, itself. However, visitors to
Longmont will find we have sufficient amenities and, also, some nice
surprises. Longmont is very well situated as an embarking point to
other towns such as Boulder, Lyons, Broomfield (shopping) and Estes
Park (National Park and tourism).

Finer Dining
Of course, from Longmont, one
could travel to Denver, Fort Collins,
Boulder, Estes Park, and small mountain towns with unique and eclectic
dining. There is a vast array of superior dining within a 1 hour
radius. If you are adventurous you will find more than one opportunity
to indulge in buffalo, fresh trout and wild game. I will focus on
Longmont venues or those within appx 15 min drive (excluding Boulder).
Greenbriar
Inn - One of the
areas finest. Not actually in Boulder. From Longmont just a short ride

PWG Members meeting at the
Radisson
Walking to lunch from the Radisson
meeting. I suggest you follow the route (below). Along the outer Mall
road you will find Schlotsky's. If you walk a bit further and cross
Hover at Clover Basin, there is a Chili's to your right. If you walk a
block further and turn left into the plaza you will find multiple
choices such as Red Robin (burgers), Rumbi's (salads), a sushi place,
Heidi's NY Deli, and others. If you go all the way to Rumbi's or
Heidi's, for example, this should be appx 1/2 mile one way.
Note: You MUST
click on "View Larger Map" for the Google Map to correctly show the
route through the Mall parking lot!!
