Professionally, I am a veteran of the IT industry having recently
completed a 28 year career with IBM
and transitioned to managing intellectual property and open standards
for InfoPrint
Solutions. I served 6 years as Chairman and 2 as Secretary of
the Printer Working Group and have been
involved with industry standards for over 20 years. In February 2009 I
helped incorporate the AFP Consortium
and became their corporate President and Secretary. AFPC is an open standards organization
with a membership of close to 30 companies dedicated to the Advanced Function Presentation datastream architecture.
At home, I live in Longmont in Boulder County, Colorado. The climate in Boulder is ideal for year round outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and snowshoeing. You will find some photos related to these and other activities under Links.
